The SEMAE Annual Conference in Haut-Mauco, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France.
On March 21st, the annual press conference of SEMAE (French Interprofessional Organisation for Seeds and Plants) was held at the MAS Seeds headquarters in Haut-Mauco, France. It was a great opportunity to talk about the challenges of the seed industry. France is the world's leading exporter of field crops and more precisely the Nouvelle-Aquitaine, which is the 1st French region in seed production.
Seeds represent an issue at the crossroads of several social expectations: maintaining food sovereignty and security, the success of the agro-ecological transition, and the crucial issue of water.
It was also an opportunity to show our know-how as a sustainable seed producer with the visit of the MAS Seeds factory and Biomolecular laboratory.
We would like you thank the organisation committee and the participants for this outstanding conference.
